Truth.Grace.Love

Truth.
Grace.
Love.
That's what one might expect to read about when visiting a blog with such a web address!!! So, I've been giving this a great deal of thought lately, wondering...
If a non-believer asked me to define the term grace in accordance with the Word and my own spiritual beliefs, would I be able to provide a coherent answer? Would my answer even come close to how God would define grace?
Would I be able to put into words how I know His truth is real... is TRUE... outside of saying, "I just know it in my heart"? (Not that this is a bad answer, but at some point I've decided I'll probably need to elaborate!)
And last but not least, how do we tell the difference between the type of love spoken so often of in the Word and how society defines love? How love is portrayed in movies, books and on television? Exactly what did Jesus mean when He gave us His greatest commandment... to love one another, just as He has loved us?
I could google it and let a search engine find my answer. But I have a better idea of where to seek such answers....
On that note, I will be MIA for the next few days. My boys have been sick with a virus that is pretty yucky. My one year old just broke his fever a few days back and now our nearly three year old started showing symptoms today. I will, however, be pondering these questions during my quiet time and should have plenty to write about when I return!
I apologize in advance for not getting around to reading everyone's blog this week.
Please leave your thoughts and comments below. I love to read them!!!
Love,
